The Tavistock is a wonderful pub, loved by locals and tourists alike.  The food is good, fresh hearty fare and the local ales are wonderful.  It is a great place for lunch or supper, or indeed as a stop en route for Dartmoor.  Highly recommended.

Dean Court is a farm shop with a cafe which serves home made food.  The service is quick and friendly and the grub is delicious.  Be warned though, their puddings, Thunder & Lightening in particular, are impossible to resist.  Booking essential at weekends.

A lovely hotel in a very romantic and rugged setting on top of Dartmoor.  The food at their restaurant is out of this world.  Everytime we go, we are blown away by the quality and freshness of their produce.  We cannot recommend it highly enough.  We might even see you there!

This hotel comes highly recommended for many things.  Their restaurant is superb with sophisticated food in a very glamorous setting.  They also have wonderful Health Club facilities that you can use by the day.

This is a great pub up on Dartmoor.  They serve delicious food and have a very good wine list.  Well worth a visit.  Booking is recommended, especially during the summer months.

This is a traditional Dartmoor Inn and well worth a visit.  They serve hearty food, perfectly cooked and a huge selection of local ale.  They even have a new guest beer every two weeks.
